1. Dispersion type breathable brick

Dispersion type breathable brickIt has high porosity and permeability. In actual production, carbon-containing compounds are added to the mixture, because the material can be burned at low temperature without leaving any residue, so the initial porosity can be obtained by burning out the core material at low temperature .Diffusion-type air-permeable bricks are scattered with air holes of different sizes that penetrate each other. When the air blowing is stopped during use, the steel and slag in the ladle will pass through these air-holes and enter the deeper area of ​​the air-permeable brick, thus causing the formation of air on the working surface. When the ladle is stopped or when the air blowing is restarted, the working surface of the permeable brick is subjected to the periodic penetration effect and corrosion erosion of the molten steel, causing the pores to block, blow through or peel off.

Using the existing testing equipment, a method for measuring the resistance coefficient of air-permeable bricks is proposed, and the dimensional analysis method and the multiple linear regression method are used. The key parameters affecting the resistance coefficient of breathable bricks were determined.

Spherical alumina is used as raw material, and by increasing the number of air-permeable pores and reducing the size of the pores, it has a good effect on inhibiting the penetration of molten steel.

2, Slit directional breathable brick

At present, the slit-oriented type is the most commonly used structural form for breathable bricks. According to the field use conditions, including refining steel type, refining process, ladle capacity, temperature, molten steel static pressure, etc., the design of reasonable slits can make the ventilation bricks blow through. The effect reaches the standard, the life in use is increased, and the safety performance is stable.

Taking fused corundum and chromic oxide as the main raw materials of breathable bricks as the object, increasing the wetting angle between raw materials and molten steel, reducing the slit width, and improving the breathable performance parameters and corrosion resistance performance parameters of slit breathable bricks. The research shows that : When compared with the performance of foreign breathable bricks, the breathability and service life of the bricks are better than those of foreign advanced products, and meet the requirements of ladle refining production for performance indicators.

3, straight-through directional breathable brick

The air passage of the straight-through directional breathable brick is designed as a straight-through hole or a straight-through slit type, and the main ventilation brick structure used in the converter is a straight-through hole type. The ventilation rate of the pores is small, so the through-slit type ventilation bricks replace the through-hole type ventilation bricks.

The literature studies different through-hole permeable bricks and their high-density structural raw materials, and tests the thermal shock resistance, iron oxide corrosion resistance, and normal temperature strength of their products. It is found that through-hole permeable bricks can maintain high bubbling reliability, and improve the durability of the brick.
