Introduction of chemical erosion of ramming material in intermediate frequency furnace
Ramming material refers to the unshaped refractory material constructed by ramming (manual or mechanical) method and hardened under the action of heating higher than normal temperature. It is made by adding water or other liquids after mixing. According to the material classification, there are high alumina, clay, magnesia, dolomite, zirconium and silicon carbide-carbon refractory ramming materials.
Today, Luoyang Quantong Kiln Industry Co., Ltd. will take you to understand the intermediate frequency furnaceramming materialThe chemical attack aspects of the introduction:
(A) Erosion of molten iron. The furnace lining is mainly eroded by carbon in molten iron. The corrosion of SiO2 plus 2C—Si plus 2CO smelts gray cast iron, both in ductile iron, and more serious in smelting ductile iron.
(B) Slag intrusion. CaO, SiO2, MnO, etc. in scrap iron and steel are easy to form low-melting slag, especially CaO, which is the most harmful. Therefore, attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the raw materials used. Severely oxidized thin-walled waste produces a large amount of slag. Try not to use it or use it in batches, and add less to each furnace.
(C) Refractory slag. The high melting point slag is caused by aluminum in the raw material, which reacts with SiO2 in the furnace lining to form mullite (3A12O3-
2SiO2), the melting point is 1850 degrees Celsius, so the aluminum in the raw material should be removed to avoid the formation of high melting point slag.
(D) Auxiliary agent. If slag coagulant or slag flux is used in the smelting operation, it will aggravate the erosion of the furnace lining, so it should be avoided as much as possible.
(E) Carbon deposition. The carbon deposition site is on the cold surface of the furnace lining, and even deposited into the thermal insulation layer. The reason for the carbon deposition is that oil-immersed wastes, such as chips, are used in the initial stage of the furnace, because the furnace lining is not fully During sintering, CO infiltrates into the back of the furnace lining, and the 2CO-2C plus O2 reaction occurs. The generated carbon is deposited on the cold surface of the furnace lining or in the pores of the thermal insulation material. When carbon deposition occurs, it will cause the furnace body to earth leakage, and even cause the coil to catch fire. flower.
