Analysis of Corrosion Phenomenon of Furnace Surface Lining

1. Banded cracks (the furnace frame weld is more likely to occur whether it is vertical or horizontal) (or at the lowest angle)
reason:
During the sintering process, the thick welding seam heats up faster than the crucible mold wall, the furnace lining expands locally, and the sharp corners and nearby positions
particle interaction
Remedy:
1. Smooth the surface of the crucible mold (mainly the weld) and remove rust.
2. Grind or chamfer the sharp corners at the bottom of the crucible mold.
2. Block marks and band marks due to erosion
Cause: Steam trapped
Remedy:
A. Drill some φ3-φ4mm holes on the crucible mold, the hole spacing is 225mm, in order to facilitate the evaporation of water;
B. Use the induction coil as the reference surface, so that the insulation and thermal insulation materials are laid concentric with it, and the interface of the insulation and thermal insulation materials is at the same time.
Should be staggered for the sake of integrity.
3. Erosion marks at different heights
Possible reason:
a, due to moisture absorption, it will cause peeling
b, contaminated by foreign particles
Remedy:
al, due to the strong water absorption of CF4AL material, the damaged material can only be used as the furnace mouth or iron casting slot when the furnace is built;
a-2, after the furnace is built, the furnace will be arranged immediately;
bl, when building the furnace, the sound should be kept clean;
b-2, suck off the dust on the outer surface of the packaging bag:
b-3, the furnace builders should not bring any sundries on their bodies, it is better to wear bag work clothes;
b-4, irrelevant personnel should not approach the electric furnace site.
