Application and classification of breathable bricks
Breathable brick is an important refractory material with good refractory performance and is widely used. Breathable brick is formed, fired and assembled from tabular corundum, spinel, chromium oxide and other materials. The breathable brick has strength It has the characteristics of high corrosion resistance, good air permeability, etc. It is suitable for all kinds of ladles. Especially the newly developed breathable bricks containing nitride materials have good corrosion resistance, are not easy to penetrate into steel, and have high blow-through rate. It is a new generation of breathable brick products. .Breathable bricks are easy to construct, the surface is evenly coated with refractory clay, and the installation is stable.
Nowadays, the permeable brick occupies an important position in my country's steelmaking industry. Argon gas can be injected into the steel through the permeable brick. In the selection process, the permeable brick can adjust the temperature of the water in the steel, stir the molten steel, and make the whole molten steel. All components are evenly distributed in every place, and at the same time, it can help the existing molten steel to remove internal impurities, so that all the internal impurities in the molten steel will float up at that time, which is conducive to the discharge of all impurities. Reasonable, good thermal stability, anti-erosion, anti-penetration, high blow rate, safe and reliable operation, long service life new products.
Common classifications of breathable bricks are as follows:
1. Ladle breathable brick: This is a high-strength breathable brick with strong compressive ability! The ladle breathable brick is produced by the ladle argon blowing process, and the penetration of molten steel is often small, so the comparison standard for the shape and size of the ladle breathable brick is normative. In addition, according to the different air passages of the breathable bricks, the ladle breathable bricks can also be divided into distributed ladle breathable bricks, straight-through directional ladle breathable bricks and slit directional ladle breathable bricks.
2. Furnace bottom breathable brick: It is an ordinary breathable brick. Because it is mainly used for the furnace bottom, it has strong high temperature resistance.
