Preparation before lining of intermediate frequency furnace

(1) The new furnace body should be fixed firmly, the furnace body should rotate normally, the screws and nuts should be tightened, and should be checked regularly after production.

(2) Check whether the induction coil is normal after being energized and watered, and whether the refractory bricks are intact. There should be no steel slag or other steel materials between the induction coils. The coil mud should not deteriorate and turn black. If there is damage, it should be replaced or repaired, and the yoke and asbestos should be intact.

(3) In the construction area, the place where the furnace lining is stored and the cargo above it should be kept clean. Coal dust and other dusty debris are not allowed to be placed in these places. If the intermediate frequency furnace near the construction is running, use the partition plate Block it to prevent molten steel from splashing into the furnace lining. If the furnace wall is incomplete or uneven, smooth it with coil mud, and let it dry naturally or dry at low temperature. The furnace body should be dusted and cleaned before the lining of the intermediate frequency furnace is constructed. .

(4) Check the crucible mold: the thickness of the crucible mold is 6-15mm (the larger the capacity of the intermediate frequency furnace is, the thicker the crucible mold is), its shape and size should meet the requirements of the drawings, and the inner wall of the crucible mold cannot be provided with reinforcing ribs except the top. The wall and the bottom form an arc transition of R50mm. On the crucible mold, drill holes in the shape of rhombus at a distance of 250-300mm, which is conducive to the discharge of moisture in the furnace lining during the baking stage, increasing the resistance, and improving heating and baking. The effect. The diameter of the hole is about 2mm. If it is too small, the exhaust effect will not be good. If it is too large, it will cause a large amount of leakage of the furnace lining material from the hole. The bottom plane of the crucible mold cannot be recessed inward. About 1mm out of the furnace to avoid the "bottom explosion" during baking and sintering due to air gaps and structural stress at the bottom after the furnace is built.

(5) The work clothes of the furnace builders should have no pockets. If there is, there should be nothing in the pockets, so as to avoid sundries (such as lighters, soot, cigarette butts, etc.) entering the lining of the intermediate frequency furnace during furnace building.

(6) Fill in the construction record sheet, record the manufacturer of furnace lining, type and specification, production batch number, construction date, furnace bottom material consumption, furnace wall material consumption, tapping groove material consumption, and the top of the crucible mold is higher than the furnace Table size, construction end time, opening time of intermediate frequency furnace, furnace condition of intermediate frequency furnace, construction, oven, revenue and expenditure or abnormal conditions in use process and process, service life of furnace lining, tapping volume, date of dismantling, Furnace lining melting damage, operator list, etc.

(7) Prepare furnace building tools: furnace building tools for furnace linings - electric furnace building machines and pneumatic furnace building machines should be produced by professional manufacturers, and the furnace building machines and their components should be intact and operate normally.
